The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 was nothing short of a treat for viewers as actor Sahiba Bali, fondly called the “national crush” and known for her role in Laila Majnu, stepped into the house for a special segment.
From light-hearted banter to addressing the ongoing love triangle between Baseer, Nehal, and Farrhana, Sahiba’s quirky interactions with the contestants kept the energy flowing. But the highlight of her appearance came when she finally lived her “fan-girl moment” with Bollywood superstar and host of the show, Salman Khan.
After the episode, Sahiba shared her excitement on social media, captioning her post with “Bajrang-Bali 🤍” before pouring her heart out in an emotional note:
“Growing up all I could talk about was Salman Khan. I did not care about any other celebrity, I loved all things ‘Prem’. When I met him for the first time it was on the Tere Naam premier, and my most cherished moment was when he spotted me & gave me a rose which I kept between an Enid Blyton book for years. I was 7. Years later, in 2018 I met him on the sets of Race 3 and all I could remember was me telling him this story shivering fully then messaging my friends while crying (happy tears)- I just wanted to work with him once. And being called on Bigg Boss to share the stage with him is no achievement but just a 7 year old’s fantasy come true. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here. Means the world to me 🥹”
Adding to the nostalgia, Ms. Bali also gave fans a peek into her personal life by sharing screenshots of a lively text exchange with her family and old friends, where she couldn’t contain her excitement about finally meeting Salman Khan. The messages struck a chord with fans, many of whom said they could “totally relate” to her childlike joy.
Sahiba wasn’t alone in her Bigg Boss journey — she was joined by close friend and comedian Kullu, along with popular comedian and former winner Munawar Faruqui. The trio brought in their signature humour during a fun Q&A with the contestants, making the episode equal parts entertaining and memorable.
