New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released a notification for recruitment to Trade Apprentice posts. As per the short notice, the online application process will begin tomorrow, September 15, 2025, and will continue until October 16, 2025. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website powergrid.in. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed 10th/ ITI, BE/ B.Tech, B.Sc, or Diploma in relevant fields are eligible to apply for this recruitment. The minimum age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years.

Required Documents
Applicants need to upload scanned copies of the following documents:

Apprenticeship registration/enrollment number under NATS/NAPS with a 100% completed/updated profile.

Educational certificates and mark sheets.

Age proof (Matriculation certificate, Aadhaar card, Passport, etc.).

Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) in the prescribed format by the Government of India (if applicable).

Bank details (Cancelled cheque/first page of passbook of DBT-enabled account).

Recent passport-size photograph and signature.
Selection Process – No Exam or Interview

Candidates will be shortlisted based on educational qualifications only.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification (DV) by PGCIL.

After DV, the final merit list will be prepared.

Selected candidates will be appointed for the apprenticeship period of 12 months (1 year).
