New York, May 26, 2026 – The World Council for Academic Accreditation (WCAA), a global organization with reach in more than 20 countries and a membership base of over 10,000, has announced a new micro fellowship program named YCMFP (Youth Change Maker Fellowship Program) aimed at advancing skill development and education through cross border collaborations. World Council for Academic Accreditation have in past collaborated with organizations like United Nations in major initiatives in several African countries and impacted millions of lives.
The announcement was made by WCAA’s Asia spokesperson, Dr. David B, during the organization’s recent summit in New York. The program Youth Change Maker Fellowship Program is designed for students in schools and colleges across Asian and African countries, including India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Egypt, Congo, and Tanzania.
According to WCAA (World Council for Academic Accreditation), the Youth Change Maker Fellowship Program will give students an opportunity to work on socially relevant problems and develop practical solutions under the guidance of mentors from industry and academia. The initiative will be implemented in collaboration with multiple agencies in participating countries, with an emphasis on building local relevance and global perspective and is said to impact 100,000 lives by 2030.
Students who successfully complete the Youth Change Maker Fellowship Program will receive completion certificates and recognition from WCAA and its partner organizations. WCAA said the initiative reflects its broader mission to strengthen education, promote skill development, and create meaningful partnerships with governments, social organizations, schools, colleges, and industry training centers.
