Mumbai– Amid ongoing political tensions, a heartwarming scene of unity was witnessed on the occasion of Eid in Mumbai’s Bandra area. A special Eid Milan function was organized at 81 Aureate Building, where residents came together to celebrate the festival with a message of solidarity. The event saw the presence of Bollywood personalities Subhash Ghai and Aftab Shivdasani, who joined in to strengthen the spirit of togetherness.
Speaking to the media, veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai extended his wishes, saying, “First of all, Eid Mubarak to everyone. This festival reminds us that we are all one, we are all Indians. I pray that the unity in our country remains strong, and may India continue to prosper.”
Actor Aftab Shivdasani echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the beauty of celebrating festivals together. He said, “Eid is a wonderful festival, and it is a joy to celebrate it with everyone. People from all religions should come together and participate in each other’s celebrations.”
The event was attended by several residents of 81 Aureate, including producer Abdul Aziz Barudgar, who expressed his pride in the society’s inclusive spirit. “Our building is home to people from different communities. We have collectively decided to celebrate every festival together—be it Eid, Diwali, or Holi. This is how we keep brotherhood alive in the country,” he said.
Mumbai has always been a symbol of resilience and unity, and this Eid celebration once again proved that the city stands together, embracing diversity with open arms.
