Actress Madhurima Tuli who’s best known for her work in various engaging and gripping projects like Baby, Naam Shabana, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Avrodh: The Siege Within, Chandrakanta, and many more has always shared a special and heartwarming equation with her mother Vijaya Pant Tuli. Right from childhood till now, Madhurima’s mother has always been a source and symbol of courage, strength, resilience and most importantly, the positive attitude towards prioritising her family ahead of anything else has always inspired Madhurima. The actress has always been vocal about her love and respect for her mother and no wonder, on special occasions, she pours her heart out about her mother all the way more. On the occasion of Women’s Day, when Madhurima was asked to share about her equation with her mother and what she feels about her giving nature, the actress shared,
“My mother has always been the most iconic woman in my life. Right from childhood, she has played a pivotal role in helping me become the person I am today. From the value systems I hold in life to my positive approach towards work, she has played a huge role in everything. Right from childhood, she has ensured that I got everything which she also wanted at her time but perhaps couldn’t. I must highlight that back in those times, my mother who’s also a mountaineer had a tough time because women primarily weren’t allowed to ride bikes, swim and other related stuff. But when it came to me, she ensured that I learn all these alongside things like Odissi, Kathak and Bollywood. She has always been an extraordinarily strong woman and her greatness lies in the fact that she has always looked forward to making her next generation of women even stronger. I am proud of her as the most iconic woman in my life. I have learnt the art of sacrifice from her. She left her career at her peak for her children and that’s the most selfless thing one could do. I can keep going on and on about this woman who’s a force of strength. I thank God for making her my mother and I wish she becomes my mother in every birth of mine. Wishing everyone a very happy Women’s Day.”
Kudos to Madhurima for all the wonderful and happy words that she has to say about her mother and no wonder she herself is so incredible because she’s raised by such a strong woman herself. On the work front, Madhurima Tuli has some interesting work projects developing at her end and the official announcements will take place soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
