After winning in 57 International Film Festivals, ‘Dost – A Friend’ short film released on YouTube

With limited resources, short films have become a great medium for new directors in Bollywood to showcase their talent. And short films also have their own audience. Especially at the national and international level, film festivals give artists and directors a golden opportunity to make their mark. A recent example of this is the short film ‘Dost – A Friend’, directed by Darshan Sarv Priy Darshi. It has won awards in about 57 World Film Festivals. It has now been released for the audience on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. It is getting a very good response from the audience.

Director Darshan Sarv Priy Darshi, who has been active in Bollywood as a make-up artist for many years, has also been deeply associated with theatre and has also started his innings as a director in Bollywood, and has shown his strength brilliantly with this short film. After being selected in 74 International Film Festivals, director Darshan Sarv Priya Darshi has completely proved his creative thinking and talent by winning awards in 57 festivals.

He has directed and produced this film made under the banner of Sarv Priy Darshi Films. The story of the short film is written by Vishwanath K Shetty is centered on children and a chameleon. In an incident, the chameleon becomes a friend of the children. But the chameleon poachers have their eyes on the chameleon. The children manage to save it from the smugglers. A big message of animal protection has also been given in the film.

The actors playing the lead roles in the film, Sharat Sonu, Manikant Saha, Girish, Madhu Rawat, Harsh Suthar, Krish Yadav, Chaitali Baghela, Shivraj Shetty, Shambhu Rana, Devendra Pratipan and Vishwanath K Shetty have succeeded in giving the film a place with their brilliant acting. The direction of the film is very strong. The film’s cinematography Raju R Kumar and Chandrika Prasad, Editor Rahul Tiwari and Iqbal Darbar’s music is also impressive.
