Anchor, RJ, and actor Devanggana Chauhan, known for her roles in Sapnon Ki Chhalaang, Saavi Ki Sawari, and Dhadkan Zindagi Kii, recently shared how spirituality plays a vital role in keeping her grounded amid a hectic lifestyle.
A Mesmerizing Encounter with Lord Shiva
Talking about her first experience witnessing a grand statue of Lord Shiva, Devanggana recalled her visit to the towering Statue of Belief (Vishwas Swaroopam).
“I am a big devotee of Shiva and Krishna, but when I saw the statue, I literally got goosebumps. It was mesmerizing to see the 369 ft tall Shiva right in front of me,” she said.
Spiritual Trips Beyond Travel
For Devanggana, spiritual journeys are more than just vacations—they are deeply transformative experiences. She frequently visits sacred places like Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and Govind Dev Ji Temple, where she participates in the early morning mangla aarti.
“I enjoy these trips. They connect me to divine energy, rejuvenate me, and give me a strong energy boost,” she shared.
Finding Peace in a Busy World
In today’s fast-paced life, Devanggana believes such spiritual retreats are essential for mental and emotional balance.
“These places carry divine energy. Your heart and chakras feel aligned, and your energies get balanced. I don’t feel negative or stressed during such trips. They remind us to live in the present moment,” she explained.
An Unplanned Yet Memorable Journey
One of her most cherished travel memories came unexpectedly during a trip through Nathdwara.
“As I landed in Udaipur and was heading to Beawar, we passed Nathdwara. The driver took us near the statue, and that spontaneous moment became the highlight of my trip,” she recalled.
Inspiring the Younger Generation
Devanggana also highlighted the importance of such spiritual destinations in connecting younger generations with deeper meaning and inner peace.
“Places like these help young people experience spirituality beyond rituals. It’s about feeling the energy and discovering inner peace,” she concluded.
