In a world where screens often steal our attention, Megha Ray finds her calm, creativity, and inspiration between the pages of a book. The actress, who plays Divya in Sun Neo’s Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, is a passionate reader and strongly believes in the magic of stories. For Megha, reading is not just a hobby but a habit that deeply supports her journey as an actor and as a person.
Sharing how books have shaped her imagination and helped her connect better with her craft, Megha says, “I have always loved reading. Some books have such beautiful stories that you genuinely fall in love with them. Reading is something I enjoy a lot, but it also helps me in many ways. People may not believe it, but reading actually helps me as an actor too. When you read regularly, you automatically start visualising scenes and characters. So whenever I read my script, I instantly imagine how the scene will look, which helps me understand my character faster. My current show Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, is very visual, so reading really helps me bring those scenes to life.”
She further added, “Today, I see many kids spending a lot of time on their phones. I would genuinely suggest parents introduce interesting books to them. If children don’t show interest initially, parents can start by reading out to them. Slowly, their curiosity to know what happens next will make them pick up the book themselves. And once you start reading, there’s truly no going back.”
In the show, Divya has special powers, and as the story unfolds, she discovers the depth of her abilities. She also learns about her destiny and the responsibility that comes with it. Her journey is not just about fighting evil, but about standing up for love, faith, and righteousness. With strong emotions, powerful visuals, and an intense battle between good and evil, Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani beautifully shows how love, courage, and belief can overcome even the darkest forces.
Watch Divya Prem: Pyaar aur Rahasya ki Kahani every Monday to Sunday at 7:30 PM, only on Sun Neo.
