Dr. Dhiraj Kantilal Jain and Dr. Mamata Dhiraj Jain Open their Private Farmhouse to Help Passengers Stranded by Gulf Flight Cancellations

Free Accommodation, Meals and Airport Pick-Up and Drop Offered to Travellers in Ajman During the Sudden Suspension of Flight Services

Ajman, 5 March 2026: When flights across parts of the Gulf were suddenly suspended due to the unforeseen war situation, uncertainty spread quickly. Airports were crowded. Hotels were full. Travellers were worried and unsure about what to do next.

In the middle of this confusion, a simple decision brought relief to many. Dr. Dhiraj Kantilal Jain, Founder and Chairman of 1XL Holdings, and Dr. Mamata Dhiraj Jain, Founder and MD of 1XL Holdings, and Founders of the Jainam Jivika Foundation, opened the doors of their private farmhouse, Jainam Jivika Farm in Ajman, to travellers who suddenly had nowhere to stay.

What began as a quick response soon became a coordinated support effort. Over the past three days, more than 200 travellers have found not just a place to stay, but comfort and reassurance during an uncertain time.

Many travellers from India reached out after hearing about the initiative. One such group of 30 visitors from Ahmedabad, whose trip to Dubai was nearing its end when flights were cancelled, stayed at the farmhouse. When their travel arrangements were finally restored, they were warmly bid farewell before returning safely to India.

The spacious farmhouse, with large halls, tents and a traditional majlis seating area, was arranged to host guests comfortably. Clean and organised accommodation ensured travellers could rest peacefully. Volunteers arranged free meals, drinking water, mattresses and blankets. Airport pick-ups and drops were also organised so passengers without local contacts could reach the farmhouse safely.

Beyond physical comfort, the environment also focused on emotional well-being. Guests were welcomed with warmth and calm surroundings, helping them feel safe and relaxed during an uncertain time. To accommodate travellers, comfortable tents were arranged at the farmhouse, along with essential facilities such as doctors on standby, yoga instructors, internet access, a projector and a screen for updates and communication.

Mornings often began with light yoga sessions followed by the recitation of the Navkaar Mantra, creating a peaceful and positive atmosphere and giving travellers a moment of calm during stressful days.

“Some travellers are arriving on their own, while others we are bringing from the airport. The idea is simple. No one should go hungry or sleep without basic comfort,” said Dr. Dhiraj Kantilal Jain.

“In times like these, what people need most is reassurance that they are not alone. Opening our farmhouse was simply a way to extend a helping hand. When travellers arrive here, our aim is to make them feel safe, comfortable and supported until their journeys can continue,” said Dr. Mamata Dhiraj Jain.

For many passengers, the sudden flight cancellations meant more than just travel delays. Unexpected hotel expenses, rescheduling challenges and concern for family members added to the stress. Several travellers described the farmhouse as a place where they could finally relax and feel safe again.

Although many of those assisted so far are Indian nationals, the support is open to travellers of all nationalities. Organisers confirmed that the farmhouse will remain open to anyone who needs temporary shelter until normal flight services resume.

At a time when travel plans changed overnight, the farmhouse in Ajman has become more than just a place to stay. For many travellers, it became a place of calm, kindness and human connection when they needed it most.
