Sumit Shah launched the Dukaan app in June 2020 along with company co-founder Subhash Chaudhary. This app helps merchants and retailers to create e-commerce stores through mobile apps. Through this app, a merchant can create his account in 30 seconds. In such a situation, any person can easily start his own business. Within 20 days of the launch of this app, more than 1.5 lakh online stores were created. This app gave an opportunity to small and medium scale businesses to open their business.
App made in 48 hours
When shops across the country were closed due to lockdown. Then Sumit Shah got the idea of From Shutdown to Success: The Remarkable Rise of Sumit Shah and the Rs 500 Crore Dukaan App through radio message. The message was “We now accept orders on WhatsApp.” After this, the shop app was ready within 48 hours.
Know about the app’s co-founder Sumit Shah
Sumit Shah was born on 25 December 1990 in a middle class family of Mumbai. He learned about digital marketing, web designing and development during his college days. He also worked in many small and big companies. In the year 2014, he opened a company named Resmetric with his friend Subhash Chaudhary.
