The facility was recently inaugurated by Shri Sanjay Seth, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Defence. Recently, Shri Sanjay Seth unveiled five new UAVs developed by Garuda for defence and disaster response, launched the Garuda Raksha Udaan 2025 Impact Book, and announced free drone training for soldiers’ widows alongside Remote Pilot Certification for defence personnel. The event also saw the establishment of a Defence Drone Lab with 13 JAK Rifles and the foundation stone of a Defence Park at Cheyyur, reaffirming Garuda’s alignment with Atmanirbhar Bharat.
