Durga Puja is more than just a festival for Bengalis; it is an emotion that brings together faith, culture, tradition and the joy of togetherness. Actress Hindola Chakravorty is soaking in the festive spirit of Durga Puja in her hometown, Kolkata, as her much-awaited music video, ‘Elo Maa’, has officially been released, capturing the essence and cultural richness of the grand celebration.

Following the success of her telugu movie Operation Aruna Reddy, Hindola has taken on a new creative journey with this special music video, which celebrates the vibrant traditions and devotional fervour associated with Durga Puja. Produced by Gradient Music Ltd. under the leadership of Dr. Vimal Raj Mathur and directed by Soumojit Adak, Elo Maa brings together the festive atmosphere of Bengal and the deep emotional connection that Bengalis share with Maa Durga. For Hindola, being part of a project centred around Durga Puja was an experience that went beyond a regular shoot. Speaking about her experience, the actress shared that shooting during the festive season brought a completely different feeling. With the streets of Kolkata illuminated, pandals adorned with artistic decorations and the sound of dhak filling the air, the city transforms into a spectacular celebration of life, devotion and Bengali identity.

“It was a very different feeling altogether to shoot during Durga Puja. There is an energy in Kolkata during this time that is impossible to describe in words. The devotion, the celebrations and the cultural atmosphere make everything feel special. Being part of a music video that celebrates this beautiful festival made the experience even more memorable,” Hindola expressed.

Durga Puja holds a unique place in Bengal’s cultural landscape, where spirituality blends effortlessly with art, music, fashion, food and community celebrations. From the excitement of pandal hopping and the beauty of traditional attire to the rhythmic beats of the dhak and the joy of meeting friends and family, every moment reflects the warmth and vibrancy of Bengali life. It is a time when generations come together, old traditions are cherished and new memories are created.

With its festive essence and devotional theme, Elo Maa invites viewers to immerse themselves in the magic of Durga Puja and experience the timeless bond between Bengal, its culture and Maa Durga.
