As Sheena just wrapped her final dubbing for Nomad, acclaimed director Taron Lexton expressed actress Sheena Chohan’s talent and professionalism following their collaboration on the Hollywood film Nomad, which equalled the Guiness World Record for the film shot in most countries. Lexton stated, “Sheena is a joy to work with. Not only does she have tremendous talent, she’s got a fantastic work ethic and collaborative spirit. The result is pure magic.” Lexton, known for his visually stunning and emotionally resonant films, continues to push creative boundaries, and Nomad is no exception.
Chohan recently wrapped up dubbing for Nomad, which was filmed across 26 countries and directed by Lexton. Reflecting on the project, Chohan shared, “It’s been an incredible journey bringing this global story to life with such a visionary director. I loved creating this international character – it was a challenge due to my strong Indian roots, but Taron was such a wonderful director to work with and I was happy to be a blank page for him and give complete conviction to my character.”
Additionally, while in America, Chohan completed an international photoshoot with renowned French photographer Serge Ramelli, recognized for his breathtaking fine art photography displayed in over 100 galleries worldwide. Ramelli’s mastery of light and texture brought a timeless quality to their retro-vintage themed shoot in America. “Working with Serge was an inspiring experience,” Chohan said. “Together, we brought a unique character to life, evoking the retro elegance of a bygone vintage era.”
Chohan’s exciting journey continues with four upcoming releases, where she will portray a range of diverse roles, including a symbol of spiritual strength alongside Subodh Buave in Sant Tukaram, a fierce warrior in a mythical series, a bold cop in a South Indian film, and a powerful lead in a contemporary drama. Her versatility and passion for storytelling continue to set her apart as a talented actor – in fact she’s won 8 Best Actress Awards in just the last 6 weeks for her film launched at Cannes and 1 Best Actress in a Comedy Role award for her comedy drama series Ex Mates.
