India Captivated as Nikas Safronov Unveils a Spellbinding Dream Vision Spectacle Backed by Rosneft

New Delhi has become the center of artistic excitement with the unveiling of Nikas Safronov’s immersive exhibition Dream Vision. Supported by Rosneft Oil Company, the event opened at Lalit Kala Akademi to immediate public acclaim. Running from December 7 to December 21, it has attracted massive crowds eager to experience a world where traditional paintings merge with advanced digital technology. The opening created a sensation as visitors entered environments that felt like living fragments of memory and fantasy.

Dream Vision features one hundred of Safronov’s acclaimed works along with a new series crafted specifically for India. These paintings establish a vibrant dialogue between Russian and Indian cultural identities. The Taj Mahal stands alongside Moscow’s architectural grandeur, while views of St. Petersburg blend with India’s ancient landscapes. At a December 8 press briefing at the Russian Embassy, Safronov explained that he wanted to create visual conversations where cities from both nations reflect each other in new emotional forms. The result is a powerful fusion that resonates deeply with Indian audiences.

The scale of the exhibition is remarkable. Spread across two levels and eight galleries, covering nearly thirteen hundred square meters, it delivers a full journey of sensory immersion. Visitors first encounter elaborately painted elephant sculptures inspired by Russian folk traditions. These vibrant figures set the stage for the cross cultural spirit of the exhibition. Guests then enter a luminous corridor that uses an intelligent color tracking system to cast personalized streams of light that follow their movements, creating a welcoming sense of connection.

Inside the main galleries, the environment grows increasingly dynamic. Four hundred meters of LED displays produce sweeping augmented reality effects and AI enhanced imagery. Enormous digital flowers sway as if alive, avatars drift through surreal environments and mirrored floors amplify the illusions into endless reflections. A towering digital elephant transitions from a warm Varanasi dusk into the snowy brilliance of the Kremlin, captivating visitors with its smooth shift between climates and cultures.

Soundscapes and aromatic elements further elevate each gallery. Every hall carries its own emotional signature, enhancing the overall narrative. Safronov’s Dream Vision philosophy relies on these layered experiences. He believes that when multiple realities intertwine, viewers begin to rediscover their own memories within the artwork. In Delhi, this approach yields exceptional emotional resonance. Many spectators describe the exhibition as both imaginative and deeply introspective, leaving them with vivid sensations that remain long after the visit.

Rosneft’s support has been essential to bringing Dream Vision to India. The company continues to invest in landmark cultural projects that strengthen ties between Russia and India. Safronov expressed gratitude for the partnership, noting that such backing enables modern interactive formats that connect with diverse audiences. Earlier this year Rosneft sponsored the India Festival in Moscow and supported Tatiana Navka’s acclaimed ice show in Ahmedabad. After its triumphant run in Delhi, Dream Vision will travel to Mumbai from December 25, 2025 to January 15, 2026, where anticipation is already running high.
