July 31, 2026: Indian Bank has extended crucial support to flood-affected communities in Assam by contributing ₹1.20 crore (Rupees One Crore Twenty Lakh) to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This initiative, undertaken as part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, reflects its steadfast commitment to standing with communities in times of crisis and supporting recovery efforts during natural disasters.
On behalf of Indian Bank, Shri Binu J. Pillai, Field General Manager, Guwahati, and Shri Alok Kumar, Zonal Manager, Guwahati, presented the cheque to Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam. The contribution will strengthen the Assam State Government’s ongoing relief and rehabilitation measures for those impacted by the floods.
