This Summer, a series of literary workshops across various popular cultural venues in the city of Hyderabad is bound to keep citizens buzzing. Upcoming Writing workshops covering various genres of writing are going to keep the literary types busy all through the months of April and May!
“Through Summer 2026, we will be holding workshops on various genres of Non-Fiction writing, such as film review writing, sports writing, crime writing, writing for women’s magazines and so on. On April 12th at 3 PM , the series of workshops begins with a workshop on Film Review Writing conducted by Jaiwantika Dutta Dhupkar. This offline workshop will be held at La Makaan Khabar, Road No. 1, Banjara Hills on Tickets are for Rs 1500/- per head and can be booked online or by calling the company representative on 9177202658.
The workshops are focussed on employability; they’re industry oriented, teach vital skills and young people with an interest in writing, looking to make a career in journalism or content creation are encouraged to apply.
According to Jaiwantika Dutta Dhupkar who will be conducting the workshop on the 12th, “Non fiction as a genre is very underrated; nevertheless, whether you are writing news or copy, it is your Non- Fic writing skills that will eventually get you hired. Film
review writing is in dire need of quality writers who understand cinema; this workshop attempts to fill that gap.”
