Delivered through webinars, workshops, and digital learning formats, the initiative simplifies solar technology, installation processes, and business opportunities—making it accessible to diverse audiences across the country. The programme reflects a core belief: India’s solar transition depends as much on awareness as on technology.
The strongest participation has emerged from North and Central India, particularly Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Punjab. These regions, characterised by high agricultural activity, MSMEs, and rising electricity demand, are increasingly turning to solar as a reliable and cost-effective solution.
This growing awareness is translating into tangible momentum, including expansion of local installer networks, increased rooftop solar adoption, rising interest in solar entrepreneurship, and alignment with government initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Yojana.
