Actor Nanda Yadav’s critically-acclaimed film ‘Shantiniketan’ is currently going places and is in the news and limelight for all the right reasons. After being screened at multiple International film festivals in different parts of the country, the movie is now reaching beyond borders as well successfully. Yes, that’s right. The movie is all set to be screened at the upcoming Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) on 23rd March, 2025. Nanda Yadav has received phenomenal appreciation and admiration for portraying her role with perfection and prior to the Nepal International Film Festival, the movie has already been screened at prestigious places like Ajanta Ellora International Film Festival (AIFF), Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF), Jagaran Film Festival (JFF) & Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFES). This period is certainly proving to be a great time for Indian independent cinema and Indian actors at the global stage. Earlier, we saw various Indian films being screened at International festivals like Cannes & others and one must credit movies like ‘Shameless’, ‘All We Imagine As Light’ and others for opening up new doors of opportunities for Indie films and their actors who have been widely appreciated. Nanda Yadav and her film ‘Shantiniketan’ are certainly carrying forward the legacy and the actor is certainly doing her bit to make Indian independent films proud in different parts of the globe. Regarding the upcoming screening at the Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF), Nanda shares,
“Its truly a special feeling for me that my film Shantiniketan is having such splending and incredible screenings one after the other. I have put in a lot of hard work and sweat behind it and the fact that it is yielding results makes me feel all the way more motivated.”
The actor who earlier also won the special jury mention for ‘best actress’ award for Shantiniketan in Ajanta Ellora International Film Festival in the presence of Ashutosh Gowarikar, Farah Khan and others concluded by saying,
“The audience have so far been very kind towards me and the film and I thank everyone for liking and appreciating my performance. Here’s looking forward to many more of such accolades.”
