The action-drama Devara: Part 1, featuring NTR Jr., Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, will make its global debut at Beyond Fest 2024. The film is set to be showcased on the eve of its world theatrical release at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles. Notably, Devara is the sole Indian film invited to this year’s festival.
Beyond Fest previously featured S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR in 2022, which contributed to the film’s Oscar nomination. The festival has also presented screenings of major films such as Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Black Christmas, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Dunkirk. This year’s lineup includes Devara alongside Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist in 70mm, Marielle Heller’s Nightbitch, Ali Abbasi’s The Apprentice, and Steven Soderbergh’s Presence.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on September 27, 2024.
