Actor Shreya Sharma, who made a mark in Bollywood with Mastiii 4 and became an even bigger sensation with her dance number ‘Pallo Latke Again’ in the pan-India movie Jatadhara, has reportedly been roped in to lead an upcoming courtroom drama. There are rumours of how after careful selection and multiple auditions, Shreya landed the role, details of which are being tightly kept under the wraps. It seems like the makers are planning a grand official announcement and will soon be unveiling the entire cast list.
A source close to the project on the condition of anonymity stated, “The character of the lead girl is fairly strong, and both the genre and the role will require a lot of preparation. The story of the film revolves around an interesting court case. Shreya was chosen as audition really stood out.” As per the source, a host of other noted names have also been brought on board for this courtroom drama. “It is a fascinating story and will explore different aspects of human emotions as well,” the source concluded.
