Bengaluru, October 2025: Sree Saraswathi Vidya Mandira (SSVM), one of Bengaluru’s most respected educational institutions, proudly celebrates its Diamond Jubilee – 75 Years of Excellence in Education, Growth, and Community Service on October 16 and 17, 2025.
The two-day celebration, themed “Honoring Our Legacy, Forging Our Future,” marks seven-and-a-half decades of SSVM’s dedication to nurturing intellect, culture, and character.
October 16 – Inaugural Ceremony & Cultural Evening
Festivities commence on October 16 at 5:00 PM at the SSVM (CBSE) Campus, V.V. Puram, Bengaluru. The event will be inaugurated by Mr. N. Manjunath Prasad (IAS Retd.), Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka (Retd.), and feature Smt. Sowjanya, Radio Jockey with Radio City, dubbing artist, yoga enthusiast, and entrepreneur, as Guest of Honour.
The highlight of the evening will be the Grand Dance Musical “Sanatani,” presented by the Kala Sujaya team led by Mr. Sujay Shanbhag — a magnificent showcase of music, theatre, and dance celebrating India’s timeless spiritual heritage.
October 17 Morning – “Walk for Values”
On October 17 at 7:00 AM, SSVM students, teachers, and alumni will participate in the “Walk for Values,” starting from the school premises to Madhavan Park, Jayanagar.
The walkathon will be flagged off by noted cine artists Smt. Chandana Raghavendra and Smt. Deepa Katte, symbolizing a journey of unity, discipline, and moral responsibility.
October 17 Evening – “Swaranjali” Veena Recital
The grand finale on October 17 at 5:00 PM at the SSVM (CBSE) Campus will be graced by Chief Guest Smt. Revathi Kamath — a distinguished Veena Vidushi, environmentalist, philanthropist, and social influencer associated with several national initiatives in the fields of art, education, and sustainable living.
Belonging to one of the nation’s most influential families in finance and entrepreneurship, Smt. Revathi Kamath is widely admired for her grace, vision, and commitment to empowering communities through music, culture, and social development.
Mr. Harish Nagaraju, Founder of Siri Media House, will join as Guest of Honour.
The evening will feature keynote reflections, a cultural showcase, and “Swaranjali” — a soulful tribute to SSVM’s 75-year journey of values and vision.
