According to the latest report by WABetainfo, WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.6.2 update available on Google Play Store has revealed that the company is developing a feature to manage third party chats. For your information, let us tell you that WABetainfo is a website which keeps an eye on the upcoming features of WhatsApp and its information proves to be correct to a large extent.
The website had released a report yesterday, in which it was told that WhatsApp is creating an info screen for third party chats, from where information about them can be obtained. Now, from another new developing feature, it seems that the Meta-owned instant messaging app is preparing to bring many features for third party chats.
You will get two options to manage
A screenshot is also given in the report. In this, the options available to manage third party chats are shown. According to the screenshot, users will get two options Turn Off and Selected Apps in the third party chats section. This means that in future WhatsApp users will be able to select which third party app can talk to them through WhatsApp. Also, if they want, they can also turn off third party chats.
However, users will have to wait a little longer for this feature. Currently, it is in the development phase. After this, the feature will be released to beta users for testing first with future updates of the app. Then it will roll out to all users on the stable version.
