Sharjah/Dubai, UAE — The World Star Golden Cup 2025 unfolded as a powerful celebration of teamwork and employee spirit, uniting staff from Sharjah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi in a two-day sports festival organised by World Star Holding.
The journey began at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium, a ground that has echoed with the achievements of legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, and Sanath Jayasuriya. For the participants, stepping onto such a historic pitch was more than a match—it was a moment of pride and inspiration.
Day two shifted to NIBRAS School in Dubai, where the atmosphere turned into a carnival of sports, featuring football, badminton, basketball, athletics, and field events such as shot put and javelin throw. The inclusive format ensured enthusiastic participation from employees of all backgrounds.
The tournament’s crowning glory was the unveiling of the World Star Golden Cup, an 18-carat gold trophy representing dedication, unity, and shared achievement.
Emerging victorious was Marmoom Manpower, whose performance across events earned them the prestigious title of overall champions.
Chairman Nishad Hussain highlighted that such initiatives build trust, leadership, and a winning mindset within the organisation, while Managing Director Haseena Nishad described the Golden Cup as a symbol of appreciation for employees who are the backbone of the Group’s success.
