You want to import luxury furniture – only one Name comes to mind SRIZO

SRIZO: Redefining Luxury Furniture Imports from China

New Delhi / Foshan: The Indian luxury interiors market is undergoing a transformation, and at the center of this shift is SRIZO — a company that has established itself as the biggest importer of luxury furniture from China. With over 16 years of experience, SRIZO has made it possible for Indian clients to directly access the world’s largest furniture hubs in Foshan, Dongguan, and Lecong.

Founded by Mr. Animesh Tyagi and Mr. Abhishek Tyagi, SRIZO provides an end-to-end solution — from sourcing to shipping, customs clearance, and installation. We spoke with the co-founders to understand the philosophy, challenges, and future of SRIZO.

Q: How did the two of you come together to build SRIZO?

Animesh Tyagi: It started as a shared vision. I noticed the limitations Indian buyers faced, while Abhishek saw the opportunities in China’s market. Our skills complemented each other — one focusing on strategy and client relations, the other on operations and execution. That partnership became SRIZO.

Q: What was the Indian market like when you entered?

Abhishek Tyagi: At the time, clients mostly relied on catalogues or local stores with inflated prices. Very few believed they could personally travel to China and handpick furniture. We introduced that concept, and it completely changed perceptions.

Q: Why is Foshan often called the “furniture capital of the world”?

Animesh Tyagi: Because it truly is. Foshan offers thousands of showrooms, covering every possible design style — modern, classic, luxury, and experimental. No other city in the world has that kind of variety and scale in one place.

Q: What is SRIZO’s biggest strength?

Abhishek Tyagi: Transparency. Clients know exactly what they are paying for. We don’t hide costs or push catalogues. They travel with us, select in person, and we manage the entire chain — right until the furniture is placed in their home.

Q: What kind of clients do you attract most often?

Animesh Tyagi: Families building dream homes, architects, and hoteliers who want a global look. Many of our projects involve villas and resorts where clients want something extraordinary, not the usual designs seen locally.

Q: How do you ensure smooth logistics and delivery?

Abhishek Tyagi: Our China team consolidates and inspects goods before shipping. Once they’re loaded, our India team manages customs, documentation, and delivery. It’s a seamless system we’ve built over years to take the stress off clients.

Q: Could you share a client story that stands out?

Animesh Tyagi: A client in Delhi asked us to furnish an entire farmhouse. They wanted luxury indoor and outdoor furniture, art pieces, and even custom lighting. Watching the project transform from bare walls to a designer space was a proud moment.

Q: How flexible are Chinese manufacturers with customization?

Abhishek Tyagi: Very flexible. Clients often request different fabrics, finishes, or dimensions, and factories are quick to adapt. That ability to personalize is a big advantage over buying ready stock locally.

Q: What is the average timeline for a project with SRIZO?

Animesh Tyagi: Generally 60–90 days from final selection to installation in India. Larger projects can take longer, but we keep clients updated at every stage.

Q: What challenges do you still face today?

Abhishek Tyagi: Misconceptions. Many still think “China equals cheap products,” but luxury Chinese furniture competes globally with European brands. Educating clients about that quality remains an ongoing task.

Q: How important are architects and designers in your ecosystem?

Animesh Tyagi: Very important. Many of them bring us projects where their vision needs global sourcing. We help them bring those designs to life, which adds value for both the designer and the client.

Q: What trends are you seeing in luxury interiors right now?

Abhishek Tyagi: Clients want bold statement furniture — pieces that act as art. Sustainable materials and smart home integrations are also in demand. The market is moving toward personalization and exclusivity.

Q: How do you maintain client trust over such large transactions?

Animesh Tyagi: Through clear contracts, phased payments, and constant communication. Clients always know where their money is and what stage the project is at. That builds confidence.

Q: What role does your India-China dual presence play?

Abhishek Tyagi: It’s crucial. Without a China base, quality checks and coordination would be impossible. Without an India base, clients wouldn’t feel secure. Having both makes us reliable.

Q: Where do you see SRIZO in the next decade?

Animesh Tyagi: Our goal is simple: to make SRIZO synonymous with luxury furniture in India. If someone says “imported luxury furniture,” the only name they should think of is SRIZO.

Q: Finally, what is your message for clients considering luxury interiors?

Abhishek Tyagi: Don’t compromise with catalogues. Experience the largest luxury furniture markets in the world with us. With SRIZO, your home or project won’t just look different — it will feel extraordinary.
