Pune, Maharashtra: HealZen Clinic, Baner has entered into a strategic clinical collaboration with Rising Medicare Hospital, Kharadi, to launch an Integrated Pregnancy and Parenthood Support Program aimed at strengthening holistic maternal and family healthcare. The initiative combines conventional obstetric care with structured nutritional, psychological, and lifestyle-based interventions to address the evolving needs of modern pregnancies.
Rising Medicare Hospital is a multispecialty healthcare institution offering obstetrics, gynecology, IVF, diagnostics, emergency, and inpatient services. HealZen clinic brings expertise in Functional Medicine, Functional Nutrition Therapy, psychology, behavioural health, and evidence-based integrative protocols. Together, the collaboration seeks to provide a coordinated care model supporting women and families from pre-conception through post-delivery and early parenthood.
Speaking about the collaboration, Dr. Vinod Bharati, Medical Director of Rising Medicare Hospital, said, “Pregnancy outcomes today are influenced not only by clinical interventions but also by nutrition, mental health, and lifestyle factors. This collaboration allows us to extend comprehensive, patient-centric care while maintaining strong clinical governance and safety standards.”
The Integrated Pregnancy and Parenthood Support Program addresses rising concerns such as gestational diabetes, thyroid disorders, PCOS, obesity, infertility-related stress, prenatal anxiety, and postnatal emotional challenges. By embedding nutritional optimisation and psychological counselling alongside routine antenatal and postnatal care, the program aims to improve maternal wellbeing, patient adherence, and long-term health outcomes.
Under the collaboration, HealZen will deliver Functional Nutrition Therapy tailored to pre-conception, IVF, antenatal, postnatal, and lactation phases. Psychological services will focus on prenatal stress management, emotional preparedness, parenthood transition, mother–baby bonding, and family dynamics. These services will be provided in coordination with the hospital’s treating doctors to ensure continuity of care.
Dr. Apurva Ahirrao, Founder and MD at HealZen, stated, “Our objective is to complement medical treatment with evidence-based nutrition and behavioural health support. Pregnancy is a critical life stage where integrated care can significantly influence both short-term outcomes and long-term family health.”
A key component of the collaboration is its research-driven approach. HealZen Research Private Limited will support clinical documentation, outcome tracking, and non-identifiable data analysis in accordance with ICMR guidelines. This structured approach enables continuous improvement in care delivery while contributing to broader learning in maternal and chronic disease management.
The program also integrates chronic disease support during pregnancy, addressing conditions such as diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, metabolic syndrome, and inflammatory disorders that commonly coexist with pregnancy. Early intervention and lifestyle optimisation are expected to reduce complications and enhance recovery explained Dr.Prakash Kalke,CEO,HealZen
Beyond clinical services, the partnership plans joint awareness initiatives, patient education programs, and community engagement activities to promote informed and empowered parenthood.
With this collaboration, HealZen Clinic and Rising Medicare Hospital aim to set a new benchmark in integrated pregnancy and parenthood care in Pune’s rapidly developing Kharadi region, reflecting a growing shift toward multidisciplinary, preventive, and outcome-oriented healthcare models.
