Mother and Child Health Kits (MCH Kits) Distribution By Sheeba Gollapalli

Rajahmundry, March 13, 2026: Sheeba Gollapalli, G100 Andhra Pradesh Political Leadership Chair, Distributes Essential Care Kits to Around 300 Bedside Patients and Infants at Government General Hospital on Her Birthday.

In a heartfelt gesture of service and compassion, Sheeba Gollapalli, President of iPledge Foundation and G100 Andhra Pradesh Political Leadership Chair, marked her birthday by distributing essential care kits to approximately 300 bedside patients, infants, and their attendants at the District Government General Hospital (GGH), Rajahmundry (also known as Government General Hospital, Rajamahendravaram).

The thoughtfully curated kits included items specifically chosen to support maternal postpartum care, infant hygiene, hydration, and child nutrition: Diapers for just-born infants. Sanitary napkins for pregnant and postpartum women. 4 Horlicks packets per kit (nutritional drink for energy and recovery)bORS bottles (for effective hydration during illness or recovery), Milk biscuits, Peanut chikkis (nutritious energy bars).

These distributions reached families and caregivers in the maternity, pediatric, and general wards, where patients often rely on bedside attendants during extended hospital stays.

The initiative directly addresses critical needs in maternal and child health, aligning closely with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality), by promoting women’s and children’s health, nutrition, and hygiene in underserved public healthcare settings.

Sheeba Gollapalli, a prominent social worker, advocate for gender equality, and women’s empowerment from Rajahmundry, founded iPledge Foundation in 2016. The organization has spearheaded numerous community-driven programs focused on social welfare, peacebuilding, youth leadership, and humanitarian aid across Andhra Pradesh. Her leadership extends to global platforms, including her role as G100 Political Chair for Andhra Pradesh under the G100 Mission Million network, empowering women in political and leadership spheres.

The birthday distribution event received warm appreciation and support from her wider network, including the iPledge team, Missions staff, G100 Telangana and Andhra Pradesh group members, and executives from the Eurasia Afro Chamber of Commerce.
