Support directed towards the State’s flood relief and rehabilitation efforts
Guwahati, August 12, 2026: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has contributed ₹50 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, to support communities affected by the floods in Assam.
A delegation from IOB’s Guwahati Regional Office presented the contribution to the Honourable Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. The delegation comprised Shri Rajiv Kumar, Chief Regional Manager; Shri Anurag Singh Kshatriya, Assistant General Manager; and Shri Pushkar Singh, Chief Manager.
On the Bank’s support to the relief effort, Shri Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Managing Director & CEO, Indian Overseas Bank, stated, “The Bank stands in solidarity with the people of Assam at this difficult time. Our contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund is intended to strengthen the State Government’s ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts in the affected districts, and we remain ready to assist our customers in the affected districts.”
The contribution reflects Indian Overseas Bank’s continuing commitment to standing with communities during times of crisis.
