- Vibrant Buildcon 2025 Continues to Draw Strong Crowds and Global Buyers on Day 2 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi
New Delhi, April 16, 2025: Day 2 of Vibrant Buildcon 2025 witnessed high footfall, strong global business interest, and insightful discussions as India’s premier building materials and construction industry platform continued at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi. The four-day event, supported by NAREDCO and inaugurated by Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, features over 150 exhibitors and is attracting more than 500 international buyers from 60 countries, including the US, Brazil, UK, UAE, Turkey, South Africa, and Malaysia.
On the second day, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Labour & Employment and Sports & Youth Affairs, India, said, “The world recognises the entrepreneurship of the country and its huge potential. Foreign buyers are choosing our products based on stability and value. The Government is always ready to provide support in every possible way.”
He further added, “Events like these play a vital role in enabling Indian products to enter international markets.”
The day featured a comprehensive conference programme attended by industry leaders, developers, government officials, and professionals from across the real estate and infrastructure sectors. A special highlight was the exclusive panel held on the sidelines of the event, which brought together influential voices to discuss the sector’s transformation, sourcing preferences, and the shift toward NextGen building and sustainable development.
In his address, Shri G Hari Babu, National President, NAREDCO, said, “We often speak about India becoming the factory of the world, but for that to truly happen, the real estate sector and its allied industries must lead from the front. Whether it’s construction materials, interior design, infrastructure services, or technology integration — these ecosystem players are the backbone of India’s growth story.”
Mr. Harsh Vardhan Bansal, President, NAREDCO Delhi and Co-Founder of Vegas Mall & Unity Group, remarked, “There’s a shift in the mindset of developers. It is no longer about choosing between local or imported — it is about trust, performance, and long-term value. A local brand that delivers on time and stands by its commitment is often more valuable than an overseas name that simply markets well. Events like this help bring clarity to both sides — suppliers get to understand our pain points, and we get to explore innovations that aren’t always visible in regular procurement channels.”
Ms. Smita Patil, President, NAREDCO Mahi and MD, SSPL Group, shared, “We don’t want a seat at the table just for optics. Women professionals in this industry are leading billion-dollar projects, running design firms, and heading execution teams on-site. But we need more systemic support — safer workplaces, better policies, and platforms where our work is visible and valued. I’m glad this conversation happened here, and I hope it continues beyond this stage.”
Mr. Gaurav Jain, Vice President, NAREDCO and CEO – India, Infracorp Bahrain, added, “India’s real estate sector is no longer just a domestic growth story — it’s a global opportunity in motion. From smart materials to sustainable construction practices, our industry is evolving rapidly, backed by strong entrepreneurship and government support. The trust that international stakeholders are placing in Indian developers and suppliers speaks volumes about our capabilities. With innovation, scale, and value-driven execution, India is well on its way to becoming a global hub for real estate and infrastructure development.”
With participation from over 150 companies, the platform offers valuable opportunities for Indian manufacturers in building materials to connect for exports, OEM tie-ups, and global partnerships. From heavy construction materials to smart building technologies, Vibrant Buildcon 2025 is showcasing more than 10 major product categories. With actor and entrepreneur Sunil Shetty as its brand ambassador, the event is drawing widespread public attention to India’s growing role in global construction supply chains. International buyer delegations are scheduled to visit on Day 3, while B2B meetings, product launches, and workshops are expected to keep up the momentum.
